ABOUT KAREN WICKLINE
Raised in the South Bay in the lovely suburb of Walteria in Torrance, Karen graduated from South High, and then El Camino College where she received a degree in Radiologic Technology. She has been married since 1971 to William Wickline. He is the founder of Driver Benefits Incorporated. She and her husband moved to the Palos Verdes Peninsula in 2001, where they reside today.
Enjoying a challenge, Karen Race-Walked the New York Marathon in 1991, achieving her goal of finishing the race in under 6 hours. She finished a Spartan Race in 2015. She also pushed herself to higher goals in Cross-fit for 9+ years.
Still enjoying a challenge, Karen works hard for her clients. Real Estate Licensed in 1985, she knows how to do Real Estate in today’s digital market, as well as how to hand carry documents the-old-fashioned-way, which serves clients well who are not so savvy with technology.
An active member of Peninsula Community Church, she has taught both Precepts Inductive Bible Study classes for seasoned students, and Journey classes for inquiring non-believers.
Taking her faith into her business, she practices the Golden Rule, ‘Do unto others as you would have others do unto you’. Interestingly enough, it is also the motto for the Realtor association that she has belonged to since she became an agent, The National Association of Realtors. Quoting her, “I delight in living up to this higher standard. I delight in being truthful and working ambitiously to better serve my clients through the stressful process of selling or buying Real Estate, and having clients at the close of escrow say, ‘Karen, you made the process less stressful and smoother.’ “
